Pilgrims Coffee

Andrew Mundy of Pilgrims Coffee Roasters | Holy Island

A VIBERG BOOT Pilgrimage.

It’s like a part-time island with the best of both - beaches everywhere, minimal traffic and kids can run around as they please. We go down the beach a lot on weekends and cycle around the island. We’ve always not had amazing success in enrolling the kids into clubs because of the tides but otherwise we just spend our time going wild on the island!I’ve appreciated it for my entire life.

Nestled within a walled garden on Holy Island, you'll find the Pilgrims Coffee Roastery. Originally set up in a small yurt in the garden, Andrew began roasting coffee in 2014 and simply aimed to supply the cafe with delicious, high quality and sustainably sourced coffee. Though the early days were great fun, Andrew explains, by 2018 they needed a larger space, so they re-purposed an old shipping container and created the current home of the Roastery.

A stunning location with amazing produce that I highly recommend to anyone when they ask for Northern tips.
