Nigel Cabourn (born 1949)[1] is a British fashion designer known for his outerwear and vintage inspired clothing.[2][3] He studied fashion design at Northumbria Universitybetween 1967 and 1971 and his studio and business is still based in the North East of England.[4]
In 2010, I co-founded LN-CC.com, actively participating in all visual aspects, from web and logo design to photographic direction. My responsibilities expanded to include studio team management across two locations and a deeper involvement in HR.
'Hjem' means 'home' in both Scandinavian and Northumbrian dialects, uniting the birthplaces of owners Alex and Ally. The restaurant is located inside The Hadrian Hotel, with all guests arriving for an aperitif in a part of the building that feels more like the village local, before moving to the contrastingly pared-back dining room.
Inspired by a Victorian walled garden, the new gastronomic venture named Freyja, after the Norse goddess of love, fertility, and battle, the Scandi-designed restaurant will supply fresh, locally sourced produce.
