We begin to release weekly films from Bob and the team in the garden’s. We learn how to and how not to and take the viewer on the journey of rebuilding a victor ail walled kitchen garden.
We also learn from Alex how to cook the ingredients.
First visit to site to shoot Alex cooking produce on the Big Green Egg. Started at Bobs filming the harvest and ended at site filming x3 episodes.
WE HAVE COMPOST! The compost delivery is made and the raised beds start to take shape. We discuss the ‘no dig’ method and why that is important to the project. We also explore the prefab as it begins to be deconstructed.
POLYTUNNELS! We introduce Bob and the team at hexhamshire Organics and discuss how that garden will become an extension of the walled garden providing that ‘assurance of supply to the kitchen.
WE BARE FRUIT! The trees begin to bare fruit and Bob talks us through the planning application success as well as explaining the trees and orchard. A number of shorter episodes are filmed and ready.
Continuing with Bobs YouTube series, this visit was to reshoot what we shot the month before that didn’t quite work. Refining the approach before behind and infant of the camera.
Visit to site with Bob to begin the films with Bob talking us through the development of a walled garden. Stills also taken as this is the first time we are seeing the trees that have been planted.
As part of a separate project we visited Hexhamshire Organics where Alex and Bob talked through their collaborative approach. We took this opportunity to gather footage and stills that we will also be able to use.
Visit to the Monochrome studio in London to interview the team about their excitement and involvement in the project. Interviews filmed and stills taken. This will be the first in a series of ‘meet the team’ style shorts.
Visit to site to begin the video documentation of the site, project and team. We meet the founders Alex and Charlie. Bob and Anne were working to neaten up the walled garden whilst also taking soil samples to send off for analysis.
First visit to site to document the before, meeting onsite with the Elliots architects. The photographs document the team discussing pre drawings and show the stringed out boundaries for where the restaurant will ‘be’.
